SPOKANE, Wash. -- No one was injured, but significant damage was done to vehicles in Spokane when a garbage truck rammed into them.
It happened during the Thursday morning commute near Howard and 7th.
The truck was turning out of an alley when it slipped on ice, and it went into seven other cars.
Just one of those vehicles was occupied, and the driver of that car was not injured.
Another car swerving to avoid this mess then collided with a truck, creating a second wreck. Those drivers were also unharmed.
A couple of the cars were heavily damaged, but all of them were at least partially affected.
KREM 2's Hayley Guenthner says ice blanketed streets in that area, and drivers should remain cautious.
