PORTLAND -- A pedestrian was struck and killed about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway and Shattuck Road.
Arriving police and emergency crews found 27-year-old Mara Rosanne Forsythe-Crane dead, said Sgt. Pete Simpson.
She was struck by a large box truck, he said. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
The intersection was expected to be closed for several hours.
