FOREST GROVE – A Forest Grove man is charged with raping a 12-year-old girl he met on Facebook, police said.
Andres Vasquez, 19, was indicted by a Washington County Grand Jury on two counts of second degree rape, online sexual corruption of a child, attempted sodomy and burglary.
Vasquez’s alleged crimes were discovered earlier in December after a parent found concerning messages from the suspect on the victim’s phone, police said.
Vasquez’s next court appearance will be Jan. 25 at 9 a.m.
