BOISE -- The Boise Police Department says the dog stolen from a pickup earlier this week is safe, healthy and back with his owner.

"Dallas," is a poodle with that very distinctive orange stripe.

A Meridian woman reported him stolen last Friday night, from the parking lot of the Wal-Mart store on Overland.

Boise Police officers were in Nampa Thursday, following a lead on the case, when someone called to report that they had just seen the dog.

That witness took Nampa Police officers to a nearby home, where they found Dallas.

Police have identified a suspect, a juvenile who lives in Nampa, and is one of the people shown in these security photos from Saturday at the Walmart on 12th Avenue.

They have not determined how the other person in the pictures was involved.
