BOISE -- A man is in the hospital after he was hit in a crosswalk this morning on Warm Springs Ave near Straughan Avenue.
The accident happened at approximately 7:25 a.m.
Police say 54-year-old Edwin McNeal of Boise was driving east on Warm Springs in a Ford Ranger pickup when he failed to yield at a crosswalk, and struck the man.
The injured man was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
McNeal was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian.
Police say the infraction carries a maximum citation of $90.
