PORTLAND – A man is in critical condition after he was stabbed multiple times early Saturday morning in Northwest Portland.
The 54-year-old man was stabbed around 3:15 a.m. near Northwest 20th Avenue and Northwest Glisan Street. He was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition, Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland Police said.
The victim is a homeless man who is well-known to police. He frequents Northwest Portland but police have not released his name.
Police have not arrested a suspect but are looking for a Native American man who may be connected to the stabbing.
