PORTLAND - A chase that started in Southeast Portland after two men were reported to have fled in a car with guns ended with the suspect and multiple police cars spilling onto Interstate 205.

Three people were taken into custody after the chase ended.

Around 5:30 p.m., police said they got a report of two men with guns near Laurel Place Apartments at Southeast 125th Place and Powell Boulevard.

The chase moved up I-205 to Airport Way, then back towards Northeast Killingsworth where several patrol cars were able to stop the suspect vehicle.

"Officers recovered an Airsoft replica firearm, multiple knives, and a small amount of methamphetamine and related paraphernalia inside the vehicle," said Sgt. Pete Simpson of the Portland Police Bureau.

Kevin Reinhard, 20 (pictured, below left), 26-year-old Shawn Keele and 22-year-old Chelsea Scott were arrested on meth charges. Keele and Reinhard also face felony weapons charges.

The pursuit and arrest blocked rush hour traffic. There were no reports of injuries.
