GRANT COUNTY, Wash. -- A Level 2 sex offender is living in the Pelican Point neighborhood south of Moses Lake.
Jerry J. Chavez, 55, pled guilty in 2003 to first-degree child molestation and second-degree child molestation charges for offenses against underage boys.
Chavez was sentenced to a suspended, 89-month sentence, which deputies say he violated repeatedly. Chavez went to prison when his suspended sentence was revoked. He finished his time there in November.
Chavez is not wanted at this time.
