NEAR LEWISTON, Idaho--A Lewiston man was arrested for DUI Sunday morning after crashing his car into an embankment.
Just before 1:30 a.m., 26-year-old Joseph O. Heidelberger was traveling eastbound on US Highway 12. He drove off the road, lost control of his vehicle and struck an embankment.
Heidelberger wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. He was transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.
He was arrested for DUI after he was released from the hospital.
