BOISE -- Two residents of a Boise home are in jail accused of growing and trafficking marijuana after officers reported finding more than nine pounds of pot, live pot plants, and five guns in their Boise home just after midnight Thursday.

Police say 32-year-old Christopher D. Redd and 23-year-old Elaynea N. Robinson -- both of Boise -- are charged with felony manufacturing marijuana and felony trafficking marijuana related to the incident.

Redd is also charged with felony unlawful possession of a firearm.

Authorities say members of the Boise Police BANDIT task force entered the home with a warrant as a result of an ongoing investigation into illegal drug sales.

They report finding the following drug-related items in the home:

  • 4,364 grams or more than 9.6 pounds of marijuana, much of it packaged in separate bags of approximately one-pound each.
  • 96 grams of hash
  • Five live growing marijuana plants
  • Marijuana cultivating equipment including lights, timers, fertilizer
  • Five firearms
  • More than $20,000 in cash

Redd and Robinson are currently in the Ada County Jail.
