BOISE -- With Thanksgiving in the rear-view mirror, folks are moving on to the next big holiday. That means many people are hitting the stores to stuff their stockings and check off their lists.

Hundreds came out for the black Friday bargains, hoping to get stuff on sale.

"90 percent of it was (on sale). The only thing that wasn't a black Friday special was the jeans I got," said Ennis Sarac, one of many shoppers at the Boise Towne Square Mall.

"We got a fondue maker, popcorn maker, some clothes," Sarac said.

Like many others, Sarac was not looking for gifts. He said he will wait to get gifts for others.

"The beginning of December is when we're planning on doing it."

"I try and get a lot of Christmas shopping done before this point, so when I see cool things for really good deal I run in for myself," said a woman who came to get a skinny jeans on sale.

Others went out to return things they bought last night. One group even said they just went to people watch.
