SPOKANE, Wash. -- The City of Spokane says drivers should be on the look out for “parking elves” Friday.
Officials will have maps, provide directions and welcome patrons into Riverpark Square.
Parking elves will drive around in new parking services carts and uniforms.
Free metered parking after 5 p.m. also begins this weekend. The program continues through Jan. 5.
