BOISE -- The Star woman arrested for the crash that killed a five-year-old boy back in June is set to stand trial next March.
On Tuesday, 42-year-old Helen Burgess pleaded not guilty to vehicular manslaughter and aggravated DUI in the death of 5-year-old Alvin Strauss.
Prosecutors say toxicology tests showed Burgess had several prescription medications in her system when her SUV rear-ended the Strauss family's minivan on Highway 44.
Police say Burgess was traveling at highway speed.
The 5-year-old died of his injuries shortly after the crash.
A jury trial is set to begin on March 18th.
