Volunteers stuff bags for Tom’s Turkey Drive

SPOKANE  -- Volunteers stuffed 11,000 bags with food for Tom’s Turkey Tuesday.

The event will take place at the Spokane Arena on November 20. Meals will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. or until they run out.

There are bus routes that run to the Spokane Arena every ten minutes

People wishing to receive a free meal bag need to bring:
•Picture ID for all adults 18 & over (drivers license, tribal ID, etc)
•Proof of minors/children under 18 (medical coupon, social security card)
•Proof of current address for all adults (Avista bill, phone bill, etc)

You can purchase a Tom's Turkey Drive Bag at Rosauers on November 16th and 17th for just $20.00. Each bag includes a full meal for a family of 4.

Tom’s Turkey Drive Thanksgiving meal includes:
 • One 10-12 pound turkey
• Fresh & locally baked Franz rolls and stuffing
• 5 pound bag of potatoes
• Canned vegetables
• Gravy
• Cranberry sauce
• Margarine
