AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash.-- A two car crash near Airway Heights sent several people to the hospital early Monday.

Medics rushed three people to the hospital following the wreck on Highway 2 near Flint Road.

Authorities said a driver was taking his elderly parents to the hospital for unknown issues around 6 a.m. when they lost control of their car.  The car spun out and hit another oncoming car.  The crash sent one car into a ditch and the other was left in the roadway.

Police said the driver was only traveling around 30 M.P.H. but that was still too fast for conditions.  They did not release the extent of injuries or whether charges would be filed.
