SPOKANE -- Since Veterans Day falls on a Sunday this year, the holiday will be observed Monday, Nov. 12.
Despite the holiday, the City of Spokane will keep its offices and libraries open at normal times. Curbside recycling and garbage pick-up will run on a normal schedule.
Parking meters do not need to be fed Monday in Spokane.
City offices in Spokane Valley will be closed for Veterans Day.
All federal offices will be closed, and there will be no U.S. Mail delivery or pick-up.
