WOODBURN, Ore. – The largest pumpkin ever in Oregon, weighing in at a whopping 1,778 pounds, made its way to Bauman Farms in Woodburn Saturday for the Great Pumpkin Weigh Off.

Participants came from Canada to California, bringing in their behemoth pumpkins to try and take this year’s title. Ten pumpkins ended up tipping the scales at more than 1,400 pounds.

Steve Daletas had this year’s winner and was more than happy to have his pumpkin on display.

Daletas’ record setter, along with the other massive pumpkins, will be on display at Bauman Farms through Oct. 31.
