SPOKANE VALLEY -- The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing at the Crossland Economy Studio located at 12803 East Sprague.
Deputies responded to the longer-term hotel around 5:00 p.m. Saturday after receiving reports of a stabbing inside one of the rooms.
Employees at the hotel said the victim walked off the property. Deputies found him at a nearby fast-food restaurant. The victim was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
Major Crimes is investigating. Detectives secured the room where the incident took place and wrote a search warrant late Saturday.
Deputies said they will spend the next several days interviewing witnesses and other people who stay at the hotel.
The suspect or suspects remain at large.
