SPOKANE--People in Hillyard are noticing a wave of vandalism and they say it’s detracting from a local park.
Stop signs have been vandalized, light poles have been damaged and trees have had their bark stripped off.
Neighbors think it’s young vandals doing the damage. The City of Spokane says it doesn’t know who’s causing the damage, but its crews have been busy cleaning up the mess.
A nearby business says they’ve also been burglarized recently, but they’re not sure if it’s related.
