SPOKANE -- Emergency crews pulled a suicidal man from the Spokane River after he jumped off the Monroe Street Bridge in downtown Spokane.
Crews gave the man CPR, and rushed him to a hospital. He was on life support Tuesday evening.
Witnesses saw the man pull his vehicle onto the bridge, get and out jump.
Emergency personnel launched a power boat and two canoes to get to the man.
There was some initial confusion about whether there may be a second person in the water, but that did not turn out to be the case.
