VANCOUVER - For the second time this year, vandals have hit a housing development in Vancouver.
Crews got to work fixing broken windows Thursday morning at the future assisted living community on Southeast French Road.
Neighbors reported hearing broken glass around 11:30 Sunday night. They also saw a group of kids in the area around that time.
Owner Steven Ortiz said vandals first struck four months ago, breaking several windows and spray painting graffiti on the homes.
"I had just scheduled to replace all the windows, which they're doing now, and Sunday night, I'm sure it's the same kids, popped in there and broke two more in front straight through," Ortiz said. "They took some concrete blocks that were inside and pitched them right through the windows."
Ortiz said the vandals did not steal anything.
Anyone with information in the case was asked to call Vancouver police.
