ROME (AP) — Italian police say they've arrested a Pakistani father and son accused of helping fund and offering logistical support for last year's terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

Authorities say the two were arrested in an early morning raid in the northern city where they manage a money transfer agency. They say the day before the November attacks, the pair had sent money using a stolen identity to a U.S. company to activate an Internet phone account.

That account, according to authorities, was used by the attackers and their accomplices to communicate during the massacre.

The three-day assault on luxury hotels, a Jewish center and other sites left 166 people dead.

The two suspects are accused of aiding and abetting international terrorism as well as illegal financial activity.
