BOISE -- Ada County commissioners will hold a public hearing tonight following an appeal against the plan to build an LDS temple in Meridian.

The county's Planning and Zoning Commission had approved the project this summer.

The building is slated to go up on North Linder Road.

But a neighbor filed an appeal, which will be heard at a public meeting tonight.

A large crowd is expected to attend the hearing at the Ada County Courthouse on Front Street in Boise.

The hearing starts at 6 p.m.  Public testimony will be taken.
