SPOKANE, Wash. -- An engine fire caused a carport to go up in flames on Spokane’s lower South Hill.
It started around 10:45 a.m. at a home near 5th and Regal.
The fire department says the owner of an RV was showing it to a potential seller. The engine began to smoke when he started the vehicle.
The owner burned his fingers while examining the engine. He backed away and the RV burst into flames.
No one was injured, but the carport was a loss.
No word yet on the official cause of the fire.
