SPOKANE, Wash. -- The Spokane Police Department arrested four people in connection to a heroin investigation on lower South Hill.
Detectives were able to bust a mid-level heroin dealer on the 1400 block of S. Grand since the beginning of 2013.
After getting a search warrant, police searched the residence today and arrested four people.
Michael Schadler, 51, and Heather Brannan, 33, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver. Shawn Quaintance, 35, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Joel Simpson, 27, was also arrested but on unrelated warrants.
Detectives found 1.3 pounds of heroin, more than $2,000 cash, scaled, packaging, and other evidence of heroin sales and use. The estimated street value of the heroin in $35,000.
