PULLMAN, Wash. -- The Pullman Police Department is investigating reported sexual assault.
A 20-year-old woman told police a man jumped out and groped her while she was walked on a sidewalk in the 400 block of Campus Street.
The assault happened around 4:00 a.m. Sunday while the woman was walking with a female witness.
The woman struggled with the man and was able to run away.
The male suspect is 5’5”. He was wearing a plaid dark colored shirt or jacket. The man’s race is unknown.
Pullman Police said this is the only report of its kind they are investigating.
