SEATTLE - Hundreds of people lined up Saturday outside the doors of the Washington State Convention Center for the PAX Prime 2010.

Devoted games know this is the place to be Labor Day weekend because of the incredible access given to the latest games.

"This huge, if there was like an NRA for games instead of guns, this is the big meeting, it's just so much fun," said Weston Quayle of Redmond.

Video game companies take over the floor, building elaborate gaming stations for the fans. The latest trends and hottest games are available for tryout.

"We get access to games, the companies who make them, the people who design them and you ger real insider access on a personal level," said Kartik Rishi of Mill Creek.

The doors officially open and fans quickly divide up, heading towards their favorites. From Rock Band to fantasy table top games, everything is represented. At 2K Games, promoters gave out free t-shirts if you played a game. The company is demonstrating it's latest videos.

"This convention gives us a chance to really interact with the fans and the community. These are the people who keep the gaming industry going," said Jennie Sue of 2K Games.

The PAX Prime 2010 is long sold out. It lasts until Monday. Once the fans get their fill, they will then have to wait like the rest of us for the games to be released to the market. But at least these gamers have already gotten a taste of what's to come.
