AUBURN, Wash. – Officers arrested a teen wanted in a fatal Auburn shooting when he showed up at his mother's house in Kent disguised as a girl.
Auburn police Cmdr. Mike Hirman says the 16-eyar-old had cut his dreadlocks and was wearing a wig, dress and high-heel shoes.
He was booked in the King County Juvenile Detention Center for investigation of Murder.
Detectives are following leads to recover the weapon used in this incident, as well as other evidence.
The shooting left another 16-year-old boy dead and two other people wounded.
Hirman said the two teens were involved in a dispute, possibly over a girl, just before the Sunday evening shooting.
The King County medical examiner identified the victim as Adrian Wilson. Two other men were wounded.
Police say the dead boy's father, Gabriel Wilson, was arrested for investigation of first-degree assault. He's accused of firing shots during the altercation.
Auburn police say two other men who were arrested were released on Monday.
