A 26-year-old Lake City man was arrested for making a bomb threat directed at a Southwest Airlines flight at Sea-Tac Airport on Wednesday morning.

The suspect allegedly called in the threat on the flight that included his ex-girlfriend as a passenger.

Port of Seattle police worked with Seattle police and federal authorities to identify the suspect and arrest him at this home.

Passengers had to evacuate the Southwest Airlines flight and bomb-sniffing dogs were brought on board.

A Sea-Tac Airport spokesperson said Flight 149 to Las Vegas was deplaned and searched while passengers were re-screened due to a security concern.

"At first they said it was a domestic issue. Then they had us all leave the plane,” said passenger Burnell Broussard

The airport did not immediately give any more details about the security concern.

The flight, scheduled to leave at 5:50 a.m., was delayed about two hours. No other airport operations were impacted.
