A collision between two semis in Federal Way and an ensuing fire is causing a major backup on the northbound Interstate 5 commute.

It happened a little after 2 a.m. near Enchanted Parkway and the State Route 18 interchange.

-    All lanes re-opened around 7:45 a.m.
-    Traffic was backed up past the Puyallup River Bridge
-    Drive time Tacoma to Seattle was more than 80 minutes.
-    Alternate routes: SR 167, SR 509, Military Road, SR 161 and SR 99.

Minor injuries were reported. Troopers say the driver who caused the collision was speeding.
