SEATTLE - For the 25th year, runners and walkers gathered for the Jingle Bell Run and Walk to celebrate the holiday.

All of the proceeds benefit the Arthritis Foundation, a cause that hits close to home for a lot of runners.

"Our friend Brooklyn smith was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and so we're here to support her and she's Jack's age, almost 9," said Chad Morgan.

Organizers said nearly 12,000 people participated this year and they raised more than $500,000.
