SEATTLE - Delays are expected to continue at the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry route Monday as crews try to get a ferry back up and running from mechanical issues.
Washington state ferries spokeswoman Susan Harris says the 120-vessel "Kittitas" has not been repaired yet from propulsion problems that started Saturday.
Harris says that on Saturday riders experienced waits of up three hours. She recommends that if riders have a choice, they should not travel that route on Sunday.
Harris adds the ferry system is transferring two smaller boats to try to alleviate the passenger loads.
One that will be on hand for the Monday morning commute is the "The Evergreen State," a ferry that can carry 87 cars.
