SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash. – A 28-year-old man was caught in an avalanche in the Commonwealth Basin area near Kendall Peak in the Snoqualmie Pass area.
Rescue teams found the man who was seriously injured when he was swept down by the avalanche and hit a tree.
The man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
