GRANT COUNTY, Wash. - The Grant County Sheriff's Office says an arrest has been made in the triple homicide investigation that happened near Mattawa.
Investigators said around 9:15 p.m. Monday deputies responded to reports of shots fired in the 21000 block of Road 24.7, which is about two miles southwest of the town of Mattawa.
Deputies arrived on scene and found one man dead and another man barely alive from gunshot wounds. A short time after arriving on scene, a third man was found dead lying in the middle of Road 26, about two miles from the location of the first two victims.
The victim who was still alive when deputies arrived later died.
Investigators have not identifed the victims, but say all three are men in their 20's.
