TACOMA, Wash. – State troopers are looking for an aggressive driver who they say caused a Tacoma woman to lose control of her car and rollover on State Route 512 Tuesday afternoon.

The Washington State Patrol says at about 1:30 p.m., Betty Perez-Traeger, 23, was driving westbound in one of the left lanes when witnesses say a red Ford Taurus, or a vehicle similar to that, cut off Perez-Traeger. She lost control of her 1996 Mercury Cougar, rolling it onto its top.

Witnesses say the red Taurus then cut across all lanes of traffic to the right and exited onto Northbound Interstate 5.

Perez-Traeger was taken to Tacoma General Hospital with serious injuries.

Three lanes of SR 512 were closed while detectives investigated.

If you have information about the vehicle involved, including a license plate number, or information on the driver, you're asked to call the Washington State Patrol at (253) 538-3240.

You can also report aggressive drivers anytime by calling 911. Troopers ask that you have a location, direction of travel and, if possible, the plate number of the vehicle ready for the dispatcher.
