Man drives heavy machinery through Port Angeles houses

Two houses were destroyed outside of Port Angeles after a man stole a bulldozer. The man also tripped power lines causing a power outage for thousands of peninsula residents.

Two houses were damaged outside of Port Angeles after a man stole a piece of heavy machinery and drove through them, the Peninsula Daily News reported.

A major power outage was caused after Bonneville Power Administration lines were tripped.

Thousands of customers are without power from east Port Angeles to Sequim, according to Mike Howe of the Clallam County Public Utilities District.

The incident took place at Baker and Highway 101. The suspect is in custody.
