Aloha, Ore.-- A 9-year-old girl has life-threatening injuries after getting hit by a car Thursday on Southwest Farmington Road in Aloha, deputies said.

This was the second pedestrian struck in the same area Thursday.

The driver reportedly hit the girl at Southwest 160th Avenue before crashing into a house, said Sgt. Bob Ray with the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators were working to determine the cause of the crash. They did not say if alcohol was a factor.
