Seattle police are searching for a silver sedan involved in a drive-by shooting in Seattle's Central District Friday night.

Around 7:30 p.m., police officers responded to 911 calls of a shooting in the 2500 block of South Norman Street. Preliminary reports indicate the 30-year-old male victim was shot while he sat in a vehicle parked in front of a residence.

A neighbor said she heard about eight or night gunshots. When she ran to the street, she saw the victim slumped over inside a car.

Police say the shooter appeared to have shot the victim from another car, then fled the scene in a silver sedan with other suspects.

The primary suspect is described by police as a black male, thin build, 5'11" tall with dreadlocks or braids in his hair. He was reportedly wearing a ski mask.

Medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center, where he was treated with life-threatening injuries.

More to follow.
