Lots of snow is expected to fall in the mountains Tuesday.
KING 5 Meteorologist Rich Marriott forecasts the snow level at about 3,000 feet Tuesday morning, rising to 4,000 feet in the afternoon. Four to 12 inches of new snow is expected within a 24-hour period ending at 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
Earlier Tuesday, chains or traction tires were required on some vehicles. Check the current travel restrictions.
