SPOKANE, Wash. -- The City of Spokane lifted a Stage 2 Snow Emergency plan two days after powder hammered the area.
As of noon Wednesday, city crews will return to their normal winter operations. They have completed plowing around Spokane, aside from a couple of exceptions. Cul-de-sacs will be done Thursday.
Plows will finish the week in Browne’s Addition. Cars must be moved from the north-south streets there Thursday and from the east-west streets on Friday. Remaining vehicles will be towed.
Deicers and sanders will stay out Wednesday to tackle icy spots and prepare for any additional snow.
