Monroe police have released a description of the truck sought in a hit-and-run on Highway 2 near Monroe that killed a female bicyclist.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner have identified the victim as 53-year-old Debberah Marie Pesce.
Police say a pickup truck struck and killed Pesce Wednesday as she crossed the street on her bicycle. Police say the driver who first hit Pesce kept going. Two other cars also hit her, but they stopped and tried to help.
The original hit-and-run driver remains at large. The driver’s vehicle is believed to be a white late 1980s to early 1990s Ford F-series pickup with dark blue or green stripes. Monroe police released surveillance video of the suspected vehicle and a photo of a truck similar to the vehicle sought.
