KALAMA, Wash. – Police took into custody a man they considered armed and dangerous in Kalama Wednesday.
A manhunt for 29-year-old Erik Johnson locked down schools throughout the afternoon.
Investigators were responding to some sort of disturbance with a gun just before 1 p.m. Deputies said he had fled on a bicycle.
Johnson approached two women and threatened to kill them, according to the Longview Daily News.
Police surrounded a house on North 4th Street at one point, but did not find him until around 5 p.m. No charges were announced.
