SPOKANE VALLEY -- A Spokane Valley business owner tracked down the person who allegedly stole $5,700 worth of items from his store.

Brandon Michielli is Vice President of Circle M Landscaping, a family-owned business on Pines. Last week, someone broke in and stole a laptop, cash, checks, custom knives and e-cigarettes.

Michielli decided to do something about it. He scoured Craigslist for the stolen items.

A post for E-cigarettes caught his eye. The seller wanted $100 for a whole bundle of things.

Michielli called the suspect and arranged to meet him at a nearby convenience store. He also called Spokane Valley detectives to let them know.

After the exchange took place, police busted 25-year-old Travis Southwick, who faces felony charges of trafficking in stolen property and possession of a payment instrument.
