Police looking for three missing children from Marysville believe they and their parents may now be making their way through western Montana.

Police said suspects Curtis Drakeford, 33, and Ashley Todd, 29, and their three children -- Kali, 9, Ashton, 8, and Cursten, 6 -- were spotted in Deer Lodge, Montana at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Police believing the family is traveling eastbound on Interstate 90 in a silver 1998 Pontiac Grand Am, Washington license number AGJ9693.

The family may have also been spotted on Tuesday in Moses Lake at the Conoco Phillips Country Store, just off Interstate 90 at exit 174.

Drakeford and Todd have been ordered to stay away from each other due to a history of domestic violence. Drakeford is also under investigation for punching the kids in 2010. In addition, he was charged with molesting young children from another relationship.

"We believe they are in danger,” said Marysville Police Commander Rob Lamoureaux. “The kids were taken away because of the violent history of the father towards the children and that is why he is not to have contact with them. I think that is why they ultimately fled with the children.”

Marysville Police called for the Amber Alert Tuesday night when the family was discovered missing.

Anyone with information the children or parents is asked to call Marysville PD at 360-363-8300 or dial 911 immediately.
