TACOMA, Wash. – Investigators from the FBI and ATF are looking into an early morning fire at a day care center. It comes a day after a van was rammed into the building.
The fire at Pathways to Learning Child Care at 9201 Pacific Avenue S. was reported around 4:30 a.m. Thursday. The fire was put out quickly by the sprinkler system and damage was minor.
Firefighters at the scene found a broken window and a gas can inside.
Nobody was hurt. The day care will be closed the rest of the day.
The building was also attacked Wednesday by someone who put a rock on the gas pedal of a van and rammed it into the side of the building.
The day care is affiliated with the Church of God in Christ International, which is located in the same building.
