Danica Patrick joins the big boys

She may not be the most successful driver on the IndyCar circuit, but Danica Patrick is certainly the most talked about. So, it was only a matter of time before she made the climb to NASCAR. On Feb. 13, 2010, Danica made her debut in the Nationwide Series, driving her green GoDaddy.com Chevrolet. But it wasn't going to be a good day for No. 7 at Daytona International Speedway. Danica ran outside the top 20 for most of the race before getting caught up in a 12-car wreck just past the halfway point. Danica ran an abbreviated Nationwide schedule in 2010 while continuing to drive full-time in the IndyCar series, in which she finished in the top 10 seven times, but did not get a win.
