Doc Halladay makes history

Before Oct. 6, 2010, Roy Halladay's superb career had never included a chance to pitch baseball's postseason. Could he stand up to the pressure? He answered the question in historic fashion. In Game 1 of the National League Division Series, Halladay became only the second pitcher to throw a postseason no-hitter, defeating the Cincinnati Reds 4-0. The only other pitcher to accomplish that was Don Larsen in the 1956 World Series, who pitched a perfect game. And this game wasn't even Halladay's best performance of the year. He also pitched a perfect game against the Florida Marlins on May 29.
