Space shuttle trainer disassembled for move to Seattle

NASA is taking apart a full-size mockup of the space shuttle to deliver it to Seattle’s Museum of Flight. The 120-foot long astronaut trainer will be broken into three segments. The engines will also be removed for delivery. It will be reassembled inside the Museum’s 15,500 square foot Space Gallery, which will open in June 2012.
