GIG HARBOR, Wash. -- KING 5 viewer "pelusa" was fishing Father's Day morning in the Puget Sound when he spotted a humpback whale near the entrace of Gig Harbor.

"It breached twice and on the second breach I took these photos," wrote pelusa. "The humpback headed north into Calvos Passage heading north."

Pelusa's photos captured the whale in full breach out of the water.
