LONDON – The British Olympic uniforms for this summer’s Games in London have people in the United Kingdom seeing red – over the lack of red.

The uniforms designed by Stella McCartney for Addidas, make the Union Jack flag predominately blue and essentially eliminates the St. George and St. Patrick crosses from the design.

While the uniforms have red trim, the flag features none.

UK news outlets report Brits went to Twitter, calling the design a “Massive fail” and demanding someone to “Change it quickly PLEASE!!!”

McCartney responded, saying the uniforms use “more red & shows more flag than any Team GB kit since ’84.”
